Why our pets are never”just pets“ ?

Because for humans, relationships aren’t defined only by biology or language they’re defined by connection, and pets meet us there in a very real way.

Pets react to our voices, habits, and moods. They can tell when we're happy, nervous, or depressed and modify their behavior accordingly. One of the essential components of meaningful relationships is a feedback loop of caring and connection, which is created by this response.
Pets don't bargain for affection, in contrast to many human partnerships. They don't maintain a score. Particularly in times of stress or loneliness, their consistency offers a psychologically strong sense of protection and acceptance.
Pets influence our days and choices through things like feeding them, taking them for walks, worrying about them, and making plans around them. Anything that profoundly organizes our lives ceases to be "simply" anything.

Animals, particularly dogs and cats, coevolved with humans. When we engage with them, our brains release the bonding hormone, oxytocin. In terms of biology, they are friends rather than accessories.
Therefore, "I didn't experience that bond" is generally what people mean when they say "it was just a pet."
However, that animal was a constant, a friend, a comfort and occasionally a lifesaver for the person who did.

At Furlyn, we believe that pets of all kinds big or small deserve thoughtful care and endless affection. Because no matter where in the world you call home, pets are family.
